Route information
All three courses will embrace the true beauty of the Cotswolds and show off the very best of Cheltenham. You will start and finish at Cheltenham Racecourse where there will be a fantastic crowd to cheer you on.
The Half Marathon route will take you through iconic areas of the town including Montpelier, Landsdown and the old Honeybourne Line. The 10k route will follow the first and final 3 miles of the Half Marathon route.
The Moki Community Mile is designed to encourage first timers, families and friends to come together and challenge themselves to get active. As with the other distances, the race will be clearly marked and marshalled.
The roads will be re-opened from 12:30, at which time runners will be asked to move onto the pavements. Pay attention to the marshals who will be able to provide clear instruction.

Get full directionsBy Car
If you are being dropped off, it is recommended you are dropped off in the surrounding roads and walk the last part to the start line.
Parking
Parking will be available at the Cheltenham Racecourse from 7am. For environmental reasons, please consider car pooling to the event.
Public Transport
For those travelling by public transport please take into consideration the road closures and leave plenty of time to travel to the event.

Participants will be set off in start waves which are determined by your estimated finish time. Faster runners will start at the front to avoid the need to overtake on the course.
Age Requirements
Entrants must be 17 and older to enter the Half Marathon and 15 and older to enter the 10k. There are no age restrictions for the Community Mile.
Cut-Off Time
Participants must have completed 4 miles within 1 hour 10 minutes. After 3 hours 30 minutes, all participants still on the course will be asked to move onto the pavements as the roads will be re-opening.
Race Packs
Race packs will be posted out before the event and all event communications will be sent via email leading up to race day.

Are there age restrictions at Run Cheltenham 2023?
Yes, all runners must be 17 or older on race day for the 10k and Half Marathon. Anyone is welcome to take part in the Community Mile.
