The Kaiser Permanente Running of the Elk is a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids Run that takes place in Elk Grove, CA. The event exists to encourage fitness and a healthy lifestyle while at the same time raising money for the Elk Grove Youth Sports Foundation youth sports scholarship fund.

Suvidha International Foundation is organizing fun 5k run or walk to raise funds to support its village services projects happening in Telugu States.
The MTB Sprint Triathlon will feature a 400 yard swim with one mass start. Water temp will be 58-65 degrees. Wetsuits are recommended. The bike will have a 8-mile mt bike course on 1-lap single-track trails around the lake. The course has a few climbs and descents. All levels of riders will enjoy the course. The 2-mile run course is on single-track trails along the lakeshore. The out and back course has 1 aid station that will be stocked with water, electrolyte drink and gel.
The event should be better than ever in spring, an ideal time to strap on runnning shoes and jog or walk. Hundreds of local residents have participated in the 5K in each of the past two years and were planning on an even larger crowd this time. The venue will not change, Inderkum High School, nor will the vital cause of raising money for scholarships and laptops to benefit students.
