Celebrate the 4th of July by running in your best red, white and blue outfit! July 4th will be the 4 on the 4th a four mile Run / Walk. NEW THIS YEAR: a chip timed 1 Mile Run starting at 7:40am (no t-shirt for this event). The 4 Mile run/walk will begin at 8am...Both events will be held on the Rivergreenway in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The 3RRC 8k is a road race that will incorporate the PFW campus as well as the Fort Wayne Rivergreenway trails. The course is all asphalt and will begin and end at the Hilliard Gates Sports Center at PFW. This is the 4th race in the Epic Racing Series.
The Corporate 5k presented by Parkview Health and the YMCA is a celebration of corporate wellness, bringing together organizations and individuals throughout the community. Enjoy an evening of fitness, music, food trucks, team camaraderie, networking, and a whole lot more! Don't forget to check out all the team and individual awards that you and your organization can compete for!
Take part in the most popular 5k of the Summer in Fort Wayne: The Annual Runners on Parade! We have $1000 in prize money for the top 3 overall male/female open and master's winners, so expect some serious competition if that's your goal, or relax and enjoy the cheering crowds gathered before the parade. NAMI Fort Wayne (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) is hosting a 5 K run and one mile fun walk on July 4, in beautiful Foster Park. This is a great opportunity to set a personal record on the flat, fast, and scenic course. The 5 K starts at 9:00 a.m. The untimed walk starts at 10:00 a.m. Wear your best patriotic outfit and you could win a prize. Form a walk team for our One-Mile walk. There are no teams in the 5 K. All proceeds benefit NAMI Fort Wayne. Please remember that no baby stroller/joggers, roller blades/skates, or pets are allowed. Race results will be posted on eRunner.biz 5 K runners will receive a t-shirt while supplies last.
Join us as we run or walk a 5k distance through downtown Fort Wayne. We will end the run at Parkview Field for a Thursday night baseball game at 7:05 pm.
Join us for the 10th Annual Pufferbelly Run/Walk/Stroll. Well run the race on the Pufferbelly Trail. The proceeds from this event will be used to further our work developing trails, including new sections of the Pufferbelly Trail. When completed, the trail will be part of the Poka-Bache Connector, running from Ouabache State Park in Bluffton to Pokagon State Park in Angola.

The tenth annual Seton Miracle Miles Run/Walk will be held on August 3rd. It benefits both the St. Mary's Soup Kitchen and the Franciscan Center.

An amazingly scenic greenway race! The race starts at Swinney park, winds is way along the St. Mary's river and then into Foster park before the return trip along the same path. You'll love the novelty of the distance and the beauty of the path.
Race will start and finish at Jury Park. Runners and family will get to spend a couple hours in Jury Pool after the race until 11:30 a.m. Anyone going into the water must have proper swimwear (no street clothes).
Kids and Adult Super Sprint Triathlon at the Jorgensen YMCA outdoor pool in Fort Wayne Indiana. 300 yard pool swim; 8 mile bike; 2 mile trail run (shorter kids races also available). Beginner friendly adult, kids race, and fast racing for Advanced races.
Healthier Moms and Babies is hosting our 4th Annual Diaper Dash. This year, we'll host both 10K and a 5K Run/Walk at the Parkview Family YMCA Pavilion. Join us as we raise awareness of our mission and help collect much needed diapers for the babies of the women we serve. The Diaper Dash will be fun for the entire family as we race along the Pufferbelly Trail. The race will be timed. Parking will be available at the Parkview Family YMCA.
Fox On The Run is an exiting trail running event for the beginner, seasoned or anything in-between runner. Located in beautiful Fox Island County Park, this event is sure to be a great trail running experience.
Come join us for the 1st Johnny Appleseed Festival 5K Run/Walk. The race will start off just SW of the Johnny Appleseed Park campground office. Enjoy running the River Greenway over the river to Purdue University Fort Wayne. Admire an abundance of fall colors as you follow the trail along the river. You may be tempted to stop and look at beautiful landscaping and sculptures as you run directly through the center of campus. As you head back towards the finish line, you will begin to smell the aroma of vendors starting their campfires for the delicious food offered during the festival. Proposed route is shown below, but is subject to change.
Every year, thousands of athletes train for and participate in the Fall Festival. The Saturday event features four races distances (4 Mile, 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon) to suit people of all ages and abilities. Participants are enthusiastically encouraged along the way by neighborhood cheer groups and live music performers, and they're awarded at the finish line with a finisher medal.
This is the 5th Annual Project 216 5K Pursuit. This is a two tier event that benefits Project 216. The first tier is a 5K run/walk to raise funds for the raw materials needed to pack the Nutri-Plenty meal. The first tier of last year's event provided enough funds to pay for 20,000 meals for starving children in Haiti. The second tier of the fundraiser is a packing event in which we personally pack these meals and prepare them to ship oversees. The next person to open this box will be those who are desperately in need of these meals.
Saturday, October 5, will be the first annual Jacks 5K Dash for Down Syndrome and will be held here in Fort Wayne, IN. This has been a long time coming and we could not be more excited!
Described by Runner's World writer Hal Higdon as "One of the most scenic 10Ks Ive ever run, the River City Rat Race is a 10K Race and 5K Race through the autumn parks and riverfront of downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. The race is fun and family friendly, and benefits the local YMCA.
Join Epic Racing Events for the last race in our series. There will be plenty of scary and spooky tricks and treats involved with our race. We will also have a kids 1 Mile fun run that will not be timed. All kids will receive a ribbon upon completion. The 4 Mile course we be located entirely on the grounds of Franke Park.
Run the Fort Wayne Hot Cider Hustle 5k on Nov. 10th. All participants get an event shirt, hot cider, caramel apple and finishers mug.
Join the Fort Wayne Running Club as we continue the tradition of supporting Riley Children's Hospital with one of the largest running events in Fort Wayne: The 13th Annual Run for Riley. Participants may choose between the 5 mile race or an untimed 5k fitness walk to show their support.
The Galloping Gobbler has become Fort Waynes new family tradition for Thanksgiving. Make room for the turkey and trimmings by running the four mile Galloping Gobbler course. The four miler starts at the Hutzell Athletic Center on the campus of the University of Saint Francis and then takes you through Fort Waynes historic Lindenwood Cemetery before finishing back at campus.
The Fox Island Turkey Trot 5K begins at 10:00 am on the scenic trails in beautiful Fox Island County Park. The event also features a 15,000 centimeter race for Turkey Toddlers 10 & under at 9:45 am.
Start a new Holiday Season tradition with the Gingerbread Pursuit 4 Mile Run. The gingerbread man, hes out of the pan! Chase him, yes chase him as fast as you can!
Join us on Saturday, April 25, for the 6th Annual Race for the Warrior that supports the Military Support Fund and the Northeast Indiana Base Community Council. The race will take flight on the runways at the Fort Wayne International Airport. The race run will occur rain or shine (no refunds will be issued).
The start line is on Harrison Street just north of the Harrison Baker Street intersection (1 block southeast of Parkview Field) in downtown Fort Wayne, and concluded with an exciting finish at Parkview Field. The course takes racers through historic Fort Wayne neighborhoods and past landmark churches.
The 4th Annual Fantasy of Lights 5K will take place on November 23. The course is illuminated by the "first lighting" of over 120 brilliant, animated light displays depicting holiday scenes. This event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!
