The Legends of Cross Country course includes smooth, crushed rock and grass. The course starts and finishes in the grass on the east side of Sunset Park and includes three (3) laps around the pond at Sunset Park. The finish is flat and fast with great visibility as you approach the finish line. The fastest 5K times of the year for Las Vegas are most often produced during the Legends of Cross Country.
Borrowing from our past, Moonlight Madness was the name of the original Desert Dash trail race over 10 years ago, and we're excited to resurrect the name for a half marathon under the sky of a full moon in beautiful Cottoonwood Valley.

Moonlight Madness is a fast race course taking place on the mildly- to moderately-technical trails of the south side of Cottonwood Valley in the Red Rock NCA on trails such as Dead Horse Loop and Satan's Escalator.

In honor of Veterans Day and the Marine Corps Birthday, we are proud to announce our 4th Annual Marines' Memorial 5K/1M Run/Walk. This event supports the Devil Pups Program of Southern Nevada. We have partnered with Eventure & HowDoYou5K, a professional events planning group, to produce our most organized run yet. We will conduct a one-mile, run/walk as well as our 5K course. In addition, we will have sponsor displays, a Marine Corps static equipment display, complimentary refreshments, entertainment and our traditional cutting of the Marine Corps Birthday Cake.

Just the most fun you can have at a half marathon and 5K! This Halloween themed half marathon and 5K will get you pumped for the holiday and give you a chance to try your most ghoulish moves out on the course.
Help spread kindness with a splash of color with the return of our Color Me Kind 5K and 1-mile Walk. The paint run allows participants to be doused with a different color at each kilometer to create a kaleidoscope of fun. Everyone receives their own color packets, giving them a chance to sprinkle a little more kindness along the route. All fitness levels are welcome. Ages 5 and up.
Large bright buoys will guide you through a safe and professionally monitored swim course, followed by a challenging bike course though the hilly landscape of the desert, finishing with a run along the historic River Mountain Loop trail. Start your Thanksgiving Day morning at the Las Vegas Turkey Trot in historic Boulder City. Before the big game and family feast, enjoy a beautiful morning run with hundreds of runners. Its an event the whole family will enjoy, with distances from 1 Mile to Half Marathon! This race is historic and scenic. Taking place at Lake Mead National Recreation Area, which is approximately 18 miles from Las Vegas and boasts amazing views as the largest man-made lake in the US. During the race, you'll run on the Historic Railroad Trail, part of the Rail-to-Trails Conservancy and National Park.

Commencing at an elevation of roughly 4500 feet, runners will experience high desert vegetation to include Joshua Trees, Pinion-Juniper, Mountain Rose, Sagebrush, and a relatively lush Toiyabe National Forest not commonly associated with Las Vegas. The road twists and turns thru the canyon; a true treasure of the Spring Mountains N.R.A. enjoying temperatures ~10 degrees cooler than the Las Vegas Valley.
Located entirely within Lake Mead National Recreation Area, the run will start at Boulder Beach and lead you onto the paved River Mountain Loop Trail offering a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. This epic run will take you on an a journey through time, with views of the largest man-made lake in US history. The January desert-temperatures and views of Lake Mead make this run a must-do!

Come TRASH those trail legs at this exciting and challenging race series! The race starts at the beautiful Hidden Falls Park and continues onto the Amargosa and Sloan Canyon trail systems. This trail system begins at around 2400 feet elevation, and parts of the 50 miler hit at around 3200 feet in elevation. Many of the trails in this race will be raced on for the first time with us! The terrain is varied, with wide groomed trails and challenging single-track. The views are spectacular: mountains, valleys, and the Las Vegas Strip!
