The race is is part of Lexington's Fourth of July Festival sponsored by Lexington Parks and Recreation and the Downtown Lexington Corporation.

The Distillery Dash will feature 5k and 10k cross country race options at beautiful Masterson Station Park. All participants will receive a race t-shirt, branded bourbon glass finisher's award, and 3 bourbon-tasting tickets to use at race after party. If participants are under 21, they will receive all portions of the finisher award except for the tasting tickets. Lexington Distilling and Brewing Company will be on-site for the after party allowing participants to redeem their tickets for bourbon samples of their various bourbon varieties. The afterparty will run until 10:00 PM, so hang around for live music, bourbon tastings, drink sales, food trucks, and a great time! Register for all three races in the series for a special finisher's award at the end of the series!
This year Lexus 5K marks our 5 year anniversary and we want to celebrate by wearing our love for The Woodhill Community Center on race day! The Bluegrass Sports Commission is proud to present the 35th Anniversary of A Midsummer Night's Run, presented by CHI Saint Joseph Health. On Saturday, August 10th runners and walkers will take to the streets of downtown Lexington for a night of entertainment and activities. The night begins with the Fastest Kid in Town at 6pm, 1 Mile Run/Walk at 7pm and A Midsummer Night's Run 5K at 8pm. Come and participate in the fun!
The Shepherds House will be hosting the 20th Annual Run for Recovery 5K and 1-mile fun walk in at Keeneland.Race Course in Lexington, KY. Shepherds House is a 12 to 18 month transitional residential treatment program for men 18 years of age and older. It is a structured program that promotes personal responsibility and accountability for those seeking sustained abstinence from mood and mind-altering substances.
The Susan Bradley-Cox Tri for Sight will again be hosted by The Club at UKs Spindletop Hall, on Sunday, September 8. The USAT-sanctioned event features a 400-meter swim in a heated, outdoor pool with a time trial start on 15-second intervals. The duathletes will instead be treated to a relatively flat, fast and scenic 2-mile run behind and beside Spindletop. Both Tri and Du events will then transition to a 12.6-mile bike course on low-traffic roads in the beautiful horse country located just east of the Kentucky Horse Park. The Tri and Du events both finish with a 3 mile run.
Join us for the Lexi Memorial 5K Run/Walk! Saturday, July 27th RJ Corman, Nicholasville, KY. This event is named in memory of a little girl named Lexi, who died while in the care of her step grandmother. Lexis maternal family has been instrumental in building this event by bringing awareness to the prevention of child maltreatment.
We are proud to announce our THIRD Georgetown Cancer Center 5K will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Georgetown College. We are holding the event to raise awareness and raise money for our Cancer Care Fund. This fund helps to provide assistance to patients who experience financial struggles during cancer treatment.
Every child needs a hero, but abused children need superheroes! Superheroes of all ages will gather at the Kentucky Horse Park for a 5K, kids run and lots of special activities. Bring your family and join our league of superheroes! This is not your typical 5K, there will be superhero figurines along the course that can be redeemed at the finish line for special prizes. All children 12 and under will receive custom CASA Superhero Run capes with registration.
Run for wine at the second annual Cabernet Canter Cross Country 5k/10k at Talon Winery! With registration, participants will receive a beautiful cross country race course, race shirt, and wine glass with the Cabernet Canter race logo. After the race, also be sure to grab your 3 free wine tasting tickets! If participants are under 21, they will receive all portions of the finisher award except for the tasting tickets. Stick around after the event for the opportunity to use your tasting tickets, shop the great selection of wines, and hang out with live music! The after party will run until 10 PM in the Talon Winery tasting room and Monarch Pavilion.

The 7th annual Finley 5k is an annual race to raise awareness and funds for SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) research. The race has grown to over 1500 participants over the past several years.

The Perfect 10 Miler and 10K returns on Saturday, March 7, at 9:00 am at Mt. Brilliant Farm on Russell Cave Road. All proceeds from the 5th annual race will benefit Surgery on Sunday, Inc., a local non-profit organization that provides outpatient surgical services at no cost to income-eligible, uninsured or under-insured individuals who do not qualify for federal or state assistance.

It is a 200-mile journey across the Bluegrass State through our historic bourbon distilleries, across our majestic horse country, and into our enchanting small towns. The Bourbon Chase is made up of 400 teams. Each team is comprised of 1 captain. Typically there are a total of 12 runners on each team.
