oth races will begin at Stockwood Park Athletics Centre and take runners through Luton and finish in the town centre.

The half marathon course takes the runners in the stunning grounds of Luton Hoo estate, passing the iconic mansion house and breath-taking landscape.

The 10k will not go into the grounds of Luton Hoo and therefore makes our new course much more accessible to all, but still a great opportunity for those raising money for charities or looking to take on a new challenge whilst still getting to experience the great atmosphere on the day.

The St Albans Stampede is an ultra marathon running event, organised by the St Albans Striders running club, held in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, covering parts of Heartwood Forest and Nomansland Common. The challenge is to cover the most amount of distance (in miles) over a designated time period of 12hrs 9am - 9pm this can be undertaken solo, as a pair or as a team relay (4 - 8 people options), and is suitable for all abilities! The course is a 4 mile route and it's up to you, or your team how you tackle it to get the most miles clocked!

The event was a fantastic success last year with runners enjoying the beautiful countryside and great HQ atmosphere - open all day for food, cakes, viewing photo's or just resting!

Its worth noting that the category winners will be awarded on distance covered only. In other words, you dont have to run the full 12hrs to have successfully completed the challenge. The 12hr duration is simply the maximum allowable time. All entrants, even those that run for 1-2hrs, will have successfully participated in the event and be awarded a medal for their efforts. And if participants from the 100 Marathon Club want to stop at marathon distance to record a successful completion, this is very much acceptable.
