Following our success in other cities, this exciting new race is coming to New Orleans annually to give all participants close to Audubon Park, the French Quarter, and neighboring areas the ability to show off their health and wellness campaigns and run or walk a 5K of which proceeds go to Unity of Greater New Orleans - an organization established in greater New Orleans focused on providing training, wellness assistance and financial literacy to return the homeless back to normalcy.

On Sunday, November 3, New Orleans will host the inaugural Fido Family Fun Run/Walk at the 2019 Jefferson SPCA Pet Fest Celebration in Lafreniere Park. Its a race, run, walk or strut with your mutt from the the fun location of Pet Fest.

the Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic 10k road race is held in New Orleans on the Saturday before Easter Sunday each year. The Classic is locally produced by a not-for-profit 5013c entity, the Crescent City Fitness Foundation, and is a great way to get in shape while having fun! Both runners and walkers of all abilities are invited to participate in the race.
The Classic is both physically challenging and a great New Orleans tradition! The 10-kilometer course (6.2 miles) begins in Downtown New Orleans in front of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, runs participants through the French Quarter, and then all the way up beautiful Esplanade Avenue to New Orleans City Park.
During Easter weekend, the events surrounding the Crescent City Classic promise a jam-packed weekend. We host a two-day Health & Fitness Expo, which is free and open to the public, as well as throw one of the best post-race parties in road racing hosted by Michelob Ultra, and complete with live music and local creole cuisine!
