Running is the world’s most accessible sport. Park runs, colour runs, 5k, 10k, half marathons, marathons and ultras — all you need is a pair of trainers and off you go. Running events are hugely popular on Let’s Do This and it’s a sociable sport, so get some friends involved and achieve something extraordinary.

If you’re starting small, the 5k and 10k events are great fun and definitely worth doing even if you’re training for a bigger challenge further down the line. Getting used to the atmosphere of an event is important. You’re so much more likely to hit a better time if there’s a crowd cheering you on, people in fancy dress and a big celebration at the finish line.

Follow one lap of a lovely off-road, traffic-free route around Dinton Pastures Country Park, near Hurst, Reading, to clock up 5km, or go round twice for 10km. Either way, its pancake flat and if you enter more than one race youve a great chance of seeing that PB come down month by month!

The Henley Half Marathon and 10k Trail Run is now in its 5th year. If you have never visited the beautiful Henley-on-Thames, this could be the perfect opportunity. Take part in these scenic Trail Runs that start and finish by the Temple Island Meadows - The Official Start line for the Royal Henley Rowing Regatta.

If you have time, when you run, jog or walk to keep looking around, you will see some of the best views around Henley and the surrounding areas.

Maverick Race and Jimmy's Iced Coffee are proud to present to you the Summit Festival at Culden Faw Estate. If you want the most epic festival atmosphere coupled with great running then this is an event you cannot miss.

Our festival is designed to bring our runners together to celebrate, eat, drink and, of course, race! You'll need to bring a tent and camping gear and tickets are available for both runners and spectators (under 12s go for free). You'll get a free beer on entry as well as having the opportunity to buy food and drink from our amazing vendors.

There will be 2 race routes to choose from, each at around 8km and you will be aiming to run as many loops as you can in 6 hours. You'll be able to enter our race in one of three categories; Solo (just you and your running shoes), Pairs (hand over to a mate when you need a break!), or Team Entry (4 runners to spread the load). Whatever you choose, the atmosphere will inspire you and the music is sure to drive you to the finish.

Race! Run as many loops as you can in 6 hours. Further entertainment will be available throughout the day including: a 9 metre climbing wall with kids' bouldering wall (3-10yrs), mobility sessions including stretching and strengthening tips, yoga classes, sponsors and trade stands, catering, a kids 2km fun loop, and a mini assault course.

The Royal Windsor Half Marathon River Trail Run creates the perfect opportunity to experience the historically picturesque Thames Valley. With an idyllic start and finish at the foot of Windsor Castle, a royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the entirely flat river route guides you upstream to Maidenhead before heading back towards Windsor.

A breakfast run around beautiful Loselely Park near Guildford. At 11.4km, this is a great start to anyone's summer weekend with medals for all and post race snacks included. A great 11.7km route (same as the Hogs Back Road Race) on a summers morning followed by a slap-up breakfast.

Loseley Park and house are incredibly beautiful, the best kind of mornings are spent in parks like these. So join us for another epic event, excited to see you there.

The Marlow Classic Twilight runs are a new addition to 2018. The course is a beautiful run along the River Thames and surrounding Marlow. Soak up the atmosphere at twilight when the sun starts to set and the moon and starts start to appear. A relaxed vibe along a relatively flat course.

Accurate & scenic 5km/10km. Race is timed using STUWEB chips with timing mats at both the start and finish.

This one is just for the females amongst us! The Shock Absorber WomenOnly Triathlon has evolved into a full female-only multi-sport day. Take your pick; theres something for everyone. So, whether its about taking on a challenge for the first time for the official charity Breast Cancer Care, or just to challenge yourself to better your time, the atmosphere at Dorney Lake makes this the perfect event at which to do this.

The event, held at the Olympic rowing venue Dorney Lake, Eton, provides a flat tarmac run and bike track as well as a lake with clean, calm waters to swim. As well as being a very safe and supportive venue, it also offers superb spectator viewing.The triathlon is always popular, offering a range of distances to either dip your toe into the water for the first time; to push yourself with a longer distance; or even to challenge yourself against the best in the Sprint Distance Triathlon.
