Celebrate the start of spring with us at the Spring Fling 5K/10K. You choose your division 5K run, 5K race walk, or 10K run. When you get back, well have a pancake breakfast waiting for you featuring pure Vermont maple syrup from a local sugar house. Breakfast will consist of pancakes, syrup, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, and coffee or hot chocolate. RaceVermont.com is happy to make a contribution to either VPR or the Nature Conservancy in exchange for the help were going to receive from local chef Sabrina Wing.
A community 5K, 1K and Fun Run for folks of all ages and abilities. The Dream Big 5K is a fundraiser to support EDD Memorial Fund Adaptive Sports programs.

Pittsford Trail Runs 5k & 1 mile - Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 9:00 am. Join us on the beautiful Pittsford trails at the recreation area for a 5k and 1 mile run/walk to benefit the Pittsford Recreation Department. Rain or shine event! Start at the Pittsford Recreation Area Pavilion, prizes awarded for finishers in age groups sponsored by local businesses. This event is a fun run and ONLY times for the top finishers will be recorded.
Founded by Joseph Cerniglia, Jr. of Springfield, VT, and after achieving revered heights through athletic achievements, 7 time Ironman finisher, Ironman World Championship in Kailua Kona Hawaii, multiple Boston Marathon Qualifier, Joseph a USAT certified endurance coach decided it was time to give back to the community he hails from that has given him so much.
The Purpose of the Annual Springfield Road Race and Fun Run is, in addition to promoting an active, healthy lifestyle, a way for family and friends to get together and be a part of their local community.
Reebok Ragnar Reach the Beach (RTB), happening Sept. 13-14 is more than a relay race; its an overnight adventure, yearly tradition and community celebration all rolled into one. And as always, NO volunteers are required.
As the East Coasts oldest running relay, this race boasts some of our best community support, with decorated exchanges, volunteers in full costume and even neighbourhood block parties. We couldnt ask for a warmer welcome for our amazing runners.

With three of the Spartan World Champ vents being staged here, the course is one of the biggest and most challenging with you encountering a vast array of obstacles which will throw you off your stride. It's a true rock star of the Spartan calendar and will push even the veterans of the sport.
The course is set in a ski resort of Killington - this means there are going to be some aggressive hills and climbs, icy water and rocky terrain. You will follow the the off road tracks through the wilderness being completely unaware of what to expect next. This will be a true test of stamina and mind over matter as Spartan throws everything at you. Your legs will be screaming to stop, your arms will feel numb but you're going ot love every second of it.
It's an amazing experience and something which you will never forget as you summit at the finish line. Let the battle begin.
