The BBBRun is put on by two local runners who are passionate about getting the community active and fit.. This event is by the community for the community. They try and do as much of it as they can ourselves to keep it as inexpensive as possible. But they could definitely do with a hand!

There is a number of roles and ways you could help the event organisers! so why not join the fun, do something amazing, and help them in their mission!

Where is the Bag Drop?
Bag drop is available at the registration area. The course is a loop so you will return to the race hub.

When do race numbers get sent?

Bibs will not be posted. You will have the opportunity to collect the bibs prior to the event at the Marina Square (Wenworth Point), dates to be announced or from the registration desk on race day. We advise to get there early to avoid extensive queuing.

Can I run with my child in the Family bridge run?

Yes. Kids under 10 should be under an adult supervision at all time.

It is mandatory that parents run with their child(ren).

Every participant needs a bib. The bib will indicate to the course officials that you are an official participant in the event.

Your 10km bib will allow entry into the 2km event.

Are the events timed?
The 10km is timed. The 2km events (wheelchair and family bridge run) are not timed(but we are working on it, and hopefully we will get this sorted).

For the 10km event, there is a disposable timing device, which will be attached to the rear of your bib/entry number. Your timing device allows us to register your official event time.

Results will be available within 24 hours after the event via our website. Usually, all things going well, the results will be available on the morning of the event (first results planned to be displayed at 8:40 AM).

Where is the start line located?

The start is located at Wenworth Place, in front of Marina Square – Wenworth Point 2127. Check out our map on the More Information page.

Can I walk?
Yes, you can walk both the 10km run and the 2km family run.

Due to stipulations based on us by the local councils and RMS we do have cut off times these will be published closer to the event. But should allow a generous amount of time to complete the event.

Can I run with a pram?
Yes, you can but please start at the rear of the field.

Can I participate with a music player?
Music players are allowed on the course. If you are using an iPod or mp3 on course please follow these guidelines:

The volume must be kept low so as not to cause offense or disturbance to other participants and so you can hear instructions and directions given by event officials, course marshals and emergency services personnel.
Music players must not be turned on until after the start of your event so that you can hear all the instructions and announcements given at the start line.
You must remain aware of your surroundings at all times, pay particular attention to lead and emergency vehicles and show courtesy to all other participants.

A really well run local event that attracts a run for everyone from sub 3.30min pace through to 6min+. Flat course with pacers to help those hitting targets. Also priced sensibly wirh easy parking
  • Did the 10km Race in 2019

Really nicely organized event. Good setup at the start/finish area with sponsors providing drinks, yoga, warm-ups, etc. Nice course around the Olympic Park precinct, reasonably but not totally flat. I think I slightly preferred previous year's course where you crossed the bridge at the start and end, but still a very nice run. Definitely recommended if you want to do a 10k.
  • Did the 10km Race in 2019

Really fun community event. Great pricing for the 10k, and a free timed 2k fun run so the whole family can get involved. Really good location with a huge amount of parking close by. The 10k course is really flat, good for a fast time on quite pleasant running paths around Olympic Park. Even though its a smaller event, the stalls, support and atmosphere is really good. The organisers have done a really outstanding job rivalling some of the big name events and should be commended for putting this on. Looking forward to 2020!
  • Did the 10km Race in 2019

Very well organised, great atmosphere. Only recommendation would be if possible more km markers (or maybe I just didnt notice them ) and I think the course was about 200m long as many of us had it as 10.2 but thats nitpicking . would definitely recommend to everyone.
