The Byron2Bruns Beach Run is series of two individual Fun Runs (5km + 10km) that take place on the iconic stretch of sand between Belongil Creek (just north of Byron Bay) and the Brunswick Surf Life Saving Club in Brunswick Heads, NSW.
There is a 5km race (for runners only) introduced in 2016. The race is a 2.5km out and back loop that starts and finishes at Brunswick SLSC. This is a great race for those not used to long distances on the sand.
The 10km Fun Run starts at Belongil Creek and finishes at Brunswick SLSC. Walkers and runners are both encouraged to take part in this event. FREE shuttle buses provided by BVC take runners from Brunswick Heads to the starting line at Belongil Creek. This takes all hassle away from parking and pickups as everyone's vehicles will be waiting at the finish line.
