Knapsack Lap Race routes

The 5km loop starts out of the leafy surrounds of sleepy Knapsack Oval, a largely unknown running reserve. The race provides single track, open fire trail, ridge lines, gully’s and tremendous views from Marge’s and Elizabeth Lookouts.

The temperature was outrageous, but the organisers managed it really well. As a competitor, we felt like we were in good hands the whole time.Make sure you set up your shelter the night before so you can focus on the run in the morning. Dont forget to wander around during the day and soak in the range of teams and groups participating. I particularly enjoyed the watching the trail kids compete. So much fun!

Knapsack 6hr Lap Race is a good way to gain better experience with technical single trail running and endurance team events or solo running.
