Join us at this family friendly trail run through Mount Baw Baw. With distances ranging from 1K all the way through to 44K, there's something for novices and experts alike. Immerse yourself in nature and get out in the beautiful Victorian Alps - and get fit while you do it!

Course Details

Course Details

Short course distance of 1/4/7 km are great for the kids and those just wanting to stretch their legs following scenic walking trails. For the more experienced, the 15 km, 21 km, 36 km and 44 km courses take in more challenging and historic runs through the National Park to Mt St Gwinear and Mushroom Rocks.

Journey times from major nearby cities to Mt Baw Baw are:

  • Melbourne: 2.5 hrs
  • Gippsland: 1 hr
  • Mornington Peninsula: 3 hrs

Train & Bus

V line trains run regularly from Southern Cross and Flinders St stations to Moe (which is the nearest station) - visit the V line website directly for more info. You will then need to arrange a transfer to Mt Baw Baw.

Kit List

Conditions may be unfavourable on race day. Be prepared to use a hat/gloves and make you have a good quality, warm weatherpoof and waterproof jacket.

All athletes competing in the 15-44K races must carry as a minimum the equipment outlined in the kit list on the organiser website. Access to the trails is poor, so should something happen to you, you must be sufficiently prepared to wait until we can reach you.
