SUMMER’S ULTIMATE PLAYGROUND
The Portsea Twilight takes place at the Point Nepean National Park, home to Mornington Penisula’s most scenic and challenging summer event. With stunning views of Bass Strait on one side and Port Melbourne bay on the other, test yourself along a fast 4k or the awe-challenging 8k (short, sharp hills mandatory!)

How to enter the Portsea Twilight

Portsea Twilight routes
Runners and walkers will be sent off in waves. If you think you have a chance of placing, please ensure you are in the first wave for your distance.
WAVE 1- All 4K participants. Priority runners (runners who aim to run under 4 mins per km) must stand at the front of the first wave.
WAVE 2 - All 4K walkers
WAVE 1 - All 8K participants who are aiming to run under 6 mins per km pace. Priority runners (runners who aim to run under 4 mins per km pace) must start at the front of Wave 1.
WAVE 2 - Participants aiming to run 6 mins+ per km pace.
WAVE 3 - All 8k walkers
Will be located every 1.5kms on both the 4km and 8km courses.
There will be a dynamic warm up for both the 4km and 8km distances held at the stage.
St. John First Aid will be located at the finish line and on course around 3km mark of the 8km distance. Bike crews are riding around all points of both courses.
Are located in the Event Village, at the start line and on the course.
