Being on a Saturday this recreation cycling event, now in its second year, allows you to have a weekend away into Spa Country and visit all the attractions that this region has to offer.

Join over 2,000 cyclists who will ride through the beautiful countryside of Hepburn, Macedon Ranges and Mount Alexander Shires. The ride will pass the towns of Kyneton, Malmsbury, Elphinston, Faraday, Taradale, Harcourt, Walmer, Maldon, Newstead, Franklinford, and Hepburn Springs before returning to Daylesford.

The course will have reduced speed limits and traffic management on intersections to create a safe course for both cyclists and cars. Suggested detours will be in place to keep through traffic off the course.

Course Details

146km

Starting and finishing in Daylesford, cyclists will ride through the beautiful countryside of Hepburn, Macedon Ranges and Mount Alexander Shires. The ride will pass the towns of Kyneton, Malmsbury, Elphinston, Faraday, Taradale, Harcourt, Walmer, Maldon, Newstead, Franklinford, and Hepburn Springs before returning to Daylesford. The course profile and distance are suitable for riders of all types, experienced riders will find it challenging enough for their legs, while those who tackle such a distance for the first time will be well supported by Aid Stations to achieve the distance.

A recreational ride starting and finishing in Daylesford, the course will incorporate sections through wineries, springs and rolling countryside. A good morning on the bike, on this distance you certainly don’t miss out on the beauty of the region.
