The Run for the Young Marathon is a charity fundraiser in Lilydale, Victoria.
hem in continuing the valuable work the Charity already does in the local community.

The courses are measured, will have official timing and drink stations along the course to provide adequate hydration. There will be food and entertainment at the finish line, and is a great day out for the whole family. Whether you want to run a Marathon or simply run for the fun of it, it will be great to see the whole community involved.

    Had never run on the Warburton Trail before but it was stunning. The hill was perhaps harder than expected, so be prepared for a long, steady climb.

    Loved it only thing i didnt like was traffic control was very poor and was held up waiting for cars while some runners would run infront of cars.

    Gatorade available at half of the water stops. Briefing held before the run to explain how the road crossings are managed.

    Last year (2017) I did the full marathon, but this year I decided to do try the half. For some reason I had forgotten about the hills, and did not train specifically for them. I would suggest training for hills.

    The run was good - any way you can make the last 1k downhill!?
