The Seaford Wetlands Fun Run was initially created to give us an event focused on raising funds for Mental Health programs in our area. What has been extremely pleasing is the fantastic community involvement. We continue to work to raise funds for Mental Health and support the Kindred Clubhouse.
The 2km competitors enjoy a warm up before setting off. Next is the warm up for the 5km and 10km runners. Each participant receives a medal that was specially designed by a student at Seaford North Primary School.
The track is flat and sealed so weather should not cause an issue, so far we have only experienced very nice sunny mornings.
This a community fun run to raise awareness and funds for the establishment of a new mental health service in the wider Frankston area: Kindred Clubhouse Program.

Course was short but apart from that its a great little event.Did the event in 2018
Run was really well done over a great course. It measured short for me ( and my wife) and everyone else using Garmin devices. Not by much (50 metres) but enough I felt the need to keep going after the finish to get to 10km.Did the event in 2018
All good, I've done this run a few times before and always enjoy it.Did the event in 2018

Great. Everything was as expected and the course and volunteers were fantastic. Perfectly run event.Did the event in 2018
Only thing I can suggest is to have the course map on the website. Other than that it was a very well run local event. Plenty of water stations on course, which was also very well mapped out (out and back course) 10km event cost the same as the 5km event, but competitors received a medal and bottled water & fruit at finish line. Nice flat and fast course, will be back next year to knock some minutes off!Did the event in 2018
