Now in it's 28th year, Australia’s longest-running sprint series is back for a new season! This is Sydney's must do event - The Kurnell Sprint Series!
Swim in Botany Bay, ride through the Kamay National Park and run this amazing piece of Sydney parkland. Get your entries in and come race Sydney’s iconic southern location!

How to enter the Triathlon NSW Sprint Series Kurnell – November

  1. Kurnell Sprint

    Triathlon: Swim 0.75km, Bike 20km, Run 5km
  2. Super Sprint

    Triathlon: Swim 0.3km, Bike 10km, Run 2km

Sprint (Itu Qualifier):

The Kurnell Sprint! A favourite of many legendary Aussie triathletes, you never know who you might see there.

Swim 750m
Botany Bay swim with a beach start.

Bike 20km
A 2 lap course which sees competitors head out to the end of Cape Solander, turning around, and then through the flats of Captain Cook Drive, left at Sir Joseph Banks Drive. 200m down this stretch will be the second sprint turn. this circuit will be completed twice.

Run 5km
3 laps of a circuit on grass and sealed paths around the Kamay Botany National Park, passing through the landing site of Captain Cook.

Super Sprint:

The Super Sprint distance is the “can do” triathlon. Race in a supportive atmosphere amongst other like minded people and become part of the thrill and excitement of triathlon whilst gaining the absolute joy and pride that comes with accomplishing a personal goal.

Swim 300m
Botany Bay swim with a beach start

Bike 10km
A 1 lap course which sees competitors head out to the end of Cape Solander, turning around, and then through the flats of Captain Cook Drive and left at Sir Joseph Banks Drive. 200m down this stretch will be the second Super Sprint turn.

Run 2km
1 lap of a circuit on grass and sealed paths around the National Park, passing by the landing site of Captain Cook.

Event Schedule:

5.30am-6.30am: Sprint – Registration / Transition; Registration Area
6.45am: Sprint – Race Briefing; Registration Area
7.00am: Sprint – Race Start; Botany Bay – Race Start
7.30am-8.30am: Super Sprint – Registration/Transition; Registration Area
8.45am: Super Sprint Race Briefing; Registration Area
9.00am: Super Sprint – Race Start; Botany bay – Race Start
10.30am: Presentation – All Events; Registration Area

On Event Day:

  • Collection of your Registration pack is compulsory for all individuals Entrants and only 1 representative from a team.
  • These can be collected from the Registration Marquee
  • Please check the Event Schedule for registration and transition opening times
  • Please bring Personal ID, TA membership if applicable
  • Junior athletes please bring your parent or guardian along with you
