The Sydney St Medical Beach to Gardens Charity Fun Run will offer runners a selection of beautiful scenic routes from 5km, 8km, 16km and 21.1km situated on the Bluewater Trail within the tropics of Mackay and a 2.6 km dog walk at Iluka Park to raise vital funds for your local helicopter rescue service RACQ CQ Rescue. All three races will start and finish at Iluka Park.
The Sydney Striders 10K at North Head on Saturday, 3 August 2019 is part of a series is held on the first Saturday of every month from February to November.
The 10K Series points score and awards are for Sydney Striders, but all runners over 18 years of age are welcome to run.

The iconic Pub2Pub Charity Fun Run and Festival celebrates its 26th year of raising much needed funds for worthy local charities on Sydneys Northern Beaches. Organised by the Rotary Club of Brookvale, over those 26 years, the event has raised over $3.5 million dollars for wonderful organisations including Life Education Australia, Northern Beaches Interchange (NBI), Surf Life Saving Northern Beaches, Without A Ribbon, Bear Cottage, Cerebral Palsey Alliance and Sunnyfield.
The event has three course options, catering for everyone from serious runners to families 13km from Dee Why Beach to Newport Beach; 6km from Warriewood to Newport Beach; and 3km from Mona Vale to Newport Beach. The Darrel Chapman Fun Run is an event that has been established in Lismore for over 20 years. The NAB, Lords Taverners and the Masters Games team with Our Kids to ensure the event will be even bigger than before. This year it will include a 4km walk/run, a 10km run and for the first time, the region only half marathon.
The Greater Bank Sydney Half is part of Athletics Greater Bank RunNSW series and will also incorporate the NSW Half Marathon Championships. The Seaford Wetlands Fun Run was initially created to give us an event focused on raising funds for Mental Health programs in our area. What has been extremely pleasing is the fantastic community involvement. We continue to work to raise funds for Mental Health and support the Kindred Clubhouse.
The 2km competitors enjoy a warm up before setting off. Next is the warm up for the 5km and 10km runners. Each participant receives a medal that was specially designed by a student at Seaford North Primary School.
The track is flat and sealed so weather should not cause an issue, so far we have only experienced very nice sunny mornings.
