Queensland Road Cycling Events
The first weekend in May of each year the Pedal4Paramedics Challenge raises funds for QAS Legacy Scheme. The course is developed for bicycle riding that will be challenging but lots of fun. This is not a race but a ride for fitness and then challenge of completing seven days of riding. This is a fully supported ride over 7 days. Participants have the option of entering in one day's ride, multiple days, or all 7!
The CONDEV GC100 charity cycle event is an event not to be missed. This epic event is held annually and organised by the Rotary Club of Parkwood to raise money for charity. The feature event is the 100 km starting at the Luke Harrop Circuit in Runaway Bay, winding down the coastline up through the hills of the Hinterland a challenging ride!
Additionally, there is a flat 50 km ride along the beautiful Gold Coast coastline to Robina and back to the Luke Harrop Circuit.
In 2019, set yourself a challenge and join Brisbane's biggest loop ride. Experience an uninterrupted ride across Brisbane from the Gateway Bridge to the Moggill Ferry, and take on the optional Coot-tha Challenge - a timed 2.3km 9% climb up Brisbane's highest peak.
Its a challenge for riders who do this regularly to clock the best or their best time overall; a challenge for riders who only do it once a year to better their time from last year; and a challenge for many to climb Mt Coot-tha for the very first time no matter how long it may take!

Australias premier domestic road-racing series, the National Road Series, will roll into Brisbane for the first time in April 2019.
The National Road Series represents Australias elite domestic and emerging cycling talent. Featuring both mens and womens teams, the National Road Series is an important platform for the promotion and development of road racing in Australia and Asia.
Featuring iconic Brisbane landmarks including our citys bridges and climbs, the event showcases Brisbane as a world cycling city. Brisbanes National Road Series The Classics race is part of the Brisbane Cycling Festival and hits the bitumen on Sunday 14 April 2019.

The UCI Gran Fondo World Series at the Tour de Brisbane is your chance to tour Brisbane as a cyclist and to line up against your age group and see exactly how you stack up.
