Join the coastal climate Run For Education fundraiser which offers a 5k Run/Walk an easy to moderate hill course loop through local neighborhoods. The 10k run essentially runs the 5k loop twice. Expo, food, medals and an event full of life ahead. Something for all even kids!

The 5k Run/Walk is an easy to moderate hill course through local neighborhoods, while the 10k Run offers up the 2nd loop around El Segundo.
The Kid’s Fun Run will be split into a 1k and half k event. The 1k Kid’s Run is for kids ages 6-10 years old, while the half l Kid’s Run is for kids 5 and under.

FAQs
What items are prohibited in the Run?
For the safety of all, as well as, insurance reasons the following are prohibited by participants for use on the racecourse: skates, roller shoes, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and any gas or electrical operated vehicles.
What time are the roads closing?
Official start is 8:00am Roads will be closing down roughly an hour before the run to ensure all traffic is cleared. Light residential traffic will be allowed under Police and Course Marshal guidance during the race for emergencies. Roads will fully open around the course starting at 9:45am or early as the last runner progresses through the course. Finish Line staging area will open back up to traffic around 11:00am.
Will there be bathrooms along the course?
Yes, porta-potties are located in the Race Expo area.
