A landmark race with regularly fantastic weather, Barcelona Marathon is one of Europe's most attractive courses. Passing attractions like the Sagrada Familia and Casa Battlo, competitors can expect a largely flat route with a few slow inclines.
The route is flat and it traverses the city, passing landmarks such as the Camp Nou, the Gran Via de les Cortes and the Passeig de Grácia which is the shopping mile in Barcelona. You will also run on the Casa Milá and the Casa Batló, moving on to the Sagrada Familia and the Hospital de Sant Pau as well as the Torre Agbar. Finally you will pass the Parc de Cuitdadella and Arc de Triomphe, back to the starting point. Tens of thousands of spectators line the route and cheer the participants.
