The Berlin Marathon course is a true sightseeing tour. This flat, looping course has seen countless records broken over the years, and runners are treated to a grandstand finish around the Brandenburg Gate.

The start is located between Straße des 17. Juni, between Brandenburg Gate and "Kleiner Stern".
By Car It is not recommended to travel by car, as there is no car parking available.
By Public Transport The most convenient stations to the start area are. Friedrichstraße (U6), Hauptbahnhof (U55), Bundestag (U55), Brandenburger Tor (U55), Potsdamer Platz (U2). From 05:30 until 22:00, your race bib will act as a free ticket to and from the event via public transport.

The race covers much of the city and there are multiple 'hotspots' to watch from, as well as live music dotted around the course. For those looking to cheer their loved ones multiple times, a short walk from the start to the 7K and 38K markers, as well as returning to the finish will afford this!
