Route information
The Central Coast Double Century begins and ends at the City Park in Paso Robles, California.
The initial portion of the route takes you over the Santa Lucia Range to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) via Adelaida, York Mtn. and Santa Rosa Creek Road. Hope you've lubed your 39 x 26. Once on PCH you'll travel through the beautiful hamlets of Cambria, San Simeon, Ragged Point and Gorda as you prep for the next assault of the Santa Lucia's. Nacimiento/Ferguson Road takes you over the ridge, parallel to Mill Creek and the Nacimiento River, to your well-deserved lunch. After lunch you get to experience the best of the Salinas and Lockwood Valley's as you ride through Quinado, Espinosa, and Tule canyons on your relentless trek toward the two lakes of Nacimiento and San Antonio. After the rest stop at the Bradley school, enjoy the latter portions of the route as you gently climb through Hare Canyon, rocket down Indian Valley Road, and roll into the finish along River Road. This ride consist of over 15k feet of climbing over the 210+ mile route, making it one of the most difficult doubles on the Triple Crown schedule.
