FAQs

Is there a time limit to finish the half marathon?
Yes: half marathon time limit to finish is 4:00 hours

Will there be awards given out to the race winners?
YES…Awards will be given out to the top 3 male/ female finishers overall and 3 deep in each age group.  Age groups are every 10 years up to 80+…  Soooo… 0-12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-74, 75-79,  80+.  We will have some other cool swag for everyone else at the post-race bib number call out. I randomly call out bib numbers and if you are still there you get whatever I am handing out at that time.

Can I pick up my race packet and chip on race day??
YES…you can pick up your race packet and chip on race day at the race day expo, but we advise you to come early!!  There may be hundreds of people doing the same and it may take a little time.  We advise you to go to the packet pick-up Saturday before race day instead.  Last minute check in on race day begins at 6:45 a.m. and ends at 7:45 a.m.  There is NO race day registration.

Where are the aid stations and Porta Potties going to be?
approx every 1.5 miles

How does a wave start work?

Wave starts are designed to reduce race start congestion and improve your race day running experience. In a wave start, runners start in groups at 2 minute intervals. This way you can run with others who are similar in speed. A wave start will allow you plenty of space along the course, at the water stations and at the finish line, without affecting your chip time or the time you have to complete the race. On race day you will line up under / behind the banner that best fits your estimated running pace per mile, see chart.
