What you need to know

Join us at Dorney Lake, home to London 2012s rowing and canoeing events, for a triathlon. The purpose-built lake is perfect for the swim and the flat grounds lend themselves to a totally flat bike and run course.

Standard distance 1500m open water swim, 40k bike and 10k run
Sprint distance 750m open water swim, 20k bike and 5k run

Course Details

The race consists of an open water swim, a traffic free and safe bike course and a run course that loops around the lake.

Travel

BY ROAD

  • Exit at Junction 7 follow slip road to roundabout
  • Turn left onto A4 towards Maidenhead
  • After traffic lights turn left at roundabout onto B3026, signposted for Dorney and Eton
  • On sharp left-hand bend, turn right, signposted Dorney Reach
  • After 400m enter Dorney Lake, Eton College Rowing Centre through large white double gates
  • Follow perimeter road to left of lake down to the boathouse

BY TRAIN

Main stations for Dorney Lake are Slough and Windsor & Eton Riverside.  Burnham, Taplow and Maidenhead stations are also nearby.

    Really enjoyable, good venue, easy to get to, close transitions and very flat so PB friendly

    Really excellent event. This was my first standard distance tri and as a beginner I really appreciated the simple layout. I can also appreciate the more experienced triathlete would like that it's an opportunity to push pace and times.
