The Hope Trail Runs, organised by Wild Running Events, are part of the South West Outdoors Festival 2018 based at East Soar Farm near Salcombe, where all the trail events will start and finish. They incorporate some of the most breathtaking views of the South West Coast Path from Salcombe to Hope Cove.

They include:

5k (Short Sharp Shock) 804 ft
10k (Glass Half Full) 1,374 ft
Half marathon (Here to Hope) 2,440 ft ascent.
There are NO cut off times for any of these events.

The Half Marathon follows the coast path down to North Sands beach and then inland to Collaton via Hangar Mill, then on past Rew Farm to West Cliff, where it picks up the SW Coast Path north to Inner Hope and then back via Bolberry.

The 10k heads down to South Sands and back to east Soar farm via Rew Farm and The Warren, while the 5k takes a shortened version skirting around Fir Woods.

A beautiful two lap course around Stanley Park. A fun event for all abilities and ages. The event uses the same course in the park as the Stanley Park 10k earlier in the year. Starting and finishing on the running track the route follows the well maintained pathways around the park. It is a two lap course, so is great for spectators who wish to stay at the track.

It is also very flat and accurately measured.
