Course Details

When participating in a Grapest 5K Run, you should expect an off-road terrain course, which means this may be rough and rugged under-foot, dusty and/or muddy, depending on the weather conditions at each event. Some courses may use sections of the road or have a road-crossing or use an adjoining estate.

Depending on each vineyard’s harvest requirements, some may permit running/walking through the vines, and others may use the exterior ground around the vines and vineyard property, and adjoining properties.

Please ensure you bring the correct footwear to accommodate all terrains.
Please note: The 10km course will be 2 x laps of the 5km course.

Raceday Logistics

All participants must read and sign the Waiver form online (when registering for the event on “Active Network”) and bring it with them on the day of the event – NO WAIVER, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS!

You must have a copy of your confirmation ticket or proof of purchase with you to check-in. An email copy on your phone is accepted. Present your confirmation email with your ID and a signed race waiver to the registration team to get your wristband

Please aim to arrive no later than 3:00 pm as this is one hour before the event starts at 4:00 pm. This will allow you to check in and get warmed up with plenty of time to spare! Your event will finish at 8:30pm

There will be plenty of parking available on-site. Parking will cost $5 per vehicle, and is payable by CASH ONLY on entry to the venue – please have the correct amount ready so as not to cause undue delays to the traffic coming in behind you. Volunteers will direct all vehicles to the parking area.

Return Bus Transfer

Grapest 5K Run is teaming up with Kiama Coaches to get you to & from Crooked River Wines. If you want to get a bus ticket, heave over to myevents.active.com where you can make an additional purchase!

This is a great event for first timers and girl groups! The course was difficult at times due to the uneven ground... a little bit more road added to the course might have helped.... I thought the finish prizes were great fun and very generous!! Loved the wine glass lanyard and bottle stopper!! Some more organisers placed around the course for cheering purposes would have added to the atmosphere but all in all, great run and great fun!
