Course Details

The Start/Finish is Outside the Spectacular Hall Front Entrance. The Route is a undulating Road Race fully marked and marshaled. 

This is a Lap Race Consisting of 1x 10k Lap. For the Marathon and Half Marathon will Run an Additional Lap at the Start to make up the distance before heading onto the 10k lap route.

Feed Station

There is a Feed station every 5k with water, electrolyte, Sweets and Cake.

Raceday Logistics

Registration will open  at 7 AM – 10:30 AM Each Day. Collect Your Chip & Race Number at Registration

Is Available at Gregynog Hall on a Pay and Display System.

Toilets

There is plenty of Toilets at Gregynog Hall, You can use the toilets every 10 k as you go past the Start/Finish area on the Lap Route.

Prize

A cash prize to top 3 M/F will depend on Numbers Entered

Vet Prize M/F 35-75 will depend on numbers entered.

Headphones

The race is run on open roads so for Safety Reasons No Headphones.

At the Finish

We have Music/Refreshments and the Event Finishes Outside the Hotel so we Recommend Staying at the Gregynog Hall Hotel.

  • Did the Half Marathon - Sunday in 2019

    The organisers and marshals were fantastic and very encouraging. It is a hard course and with extreme heat exceptionally draining.. not for people who are not used to hills or want a pb... It was absolutely beautiful though and the views and location were stunning.Take water with you if you do it as although there was water stations in the heat and with the hill you may want/need it before the water stations.Thanks again to the marshals and organisers.

    Lovely location and weather to match, organisers all super friendly. The route was a lot tougher/hillier than I expected but other than that it was fab

    Hi there. Just to let you know that you can register the morning of the race. If you go to the main race desk the morning of the race about half an hour before the start time you can pay and collect a race number. Saturday/Sunday Ultra 50k £40/£42 -9AM Marathon £34/£36 - 10:30AM Half Marathon £26/£28 - 10:45AM 10k £16/£18 - 9A
