100 Mile
The Kodiak 100 Ultra Marathon has an epic start and finish from the Village of Big Bear Lake. Runners will circumnavigate the entire Big Bear Valley and make the monumental ascent to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain (9,963ft) as well as a trip through the rarely visited, yet stunning, Siberia Creek Canyon. This course provides a true mountain 100 miler, with technical footing and a lot of running above 7,000ft.
100k
This challenging yet picturesque course offers more than just a taste of the Kodiak 100 and the 100k route will join the 100 mile course near the midway point before then following the same track to the finish. 100k runners will kick-off from a runnable section on Big Bear's north shore and behold epic views of both the desert and the alpine forest in the distance.
The real test will come in the latter stages of the race when runners climb Sugarloaf Peak (9,963ft), before making a descent of Radford Rd. Here, you can enjoy spectacular stunning views over the valley floor with San Gorgonio in the distance, before then climbing up Seven Oaks. Enjoy the cruise down Knickerbocker to finish downtown in the village.
50k, Half Marathon & 10k
Start and finish downtown in the heart of the Big Bear Village. You will head into the forest and start climbing to the high point of the course at 8,000 feet. Enjoy the beautiful single track along the ridge, with amazing views of San Gorgonio peak in the background! A stunning course that will test you and thrill you at the same time. The final 3 miles are a cruise downhill along Knickerbocker Road, a dirt road above the town of Big Bear Lake with view of the lake to take in while you finish your trail run.
