What you need to know

Have the chance to join the Lets Do This team for a training camp of epic proportions. We've been working incredibly hard all year and this is the week we all design our dream week away. Whilst there are some of the greatest athletes of our generation joining us, this is very much a trip where the social side will be a lot more competitive than the sport.

We would absolutely love for you to join us on what will absolutely be a once in a lifetime trip.

Basically everything except flights but in detail:

  • Transfers
  • All the stash (LDT kit galore)
  • Accomodation in a luxury Chalet – it’s genuinely stunning
  • Fine Food
  • Spectacular Wine every night
  • Fine varieties of other alcohol
  • Paragliding
  • Mountain Bikes and lift passes
  • Road Biking support
  • Road Bikes (recommended to bring your own but we can provide)
Raceday Logistics

Fly into Geneva airport and transfer to the Chalet in Meribel for a welcome dinner

AM: gentle morning ride and then briefing for the week.

PM: Head to mountain finish of stage 11 of the Tour De France at La Rosiere Espace San Bernardo. We’ll be meeting one of the pro teams after the finish.

Fully supported long ride (around 100km) paced by our team of pro and ex pro athletes. Home in time to watch the final kilometres of stage 12 of Le Tour up Alpe D’Huez on the big screen back at base.

AM: Sunrise tandem power motoring around the mountains on a trike – one of the greatest experiences there is.

PM: Downhill Mountain biking around the slopes of Meribel – an absolute must.

Cycling up Alpe D’Huez for those who want the challenge, or a more gentle ride for people less keen to take on one of the toughest climbs in the Alps.

AM: morning run in the mountains finishing with a mountain lake swim and Champagne picnic around the lake.

PM transfer back to Geneva for evening flight back to London.

We will be flying into Geneva airport on the Tuesday. From there we will transfer to the Chalet.

On the Sunday evening we will transfer back to Geneva for an evening flight back to London

Everyone in the team is a Rockstar and would all feature in my top 10 list of people I’d want to run/ bike/drink with but to mention 3 in particular:

Olly Freeman

Odiously talented, Olly used to be world number 4 in triathlon and double junior European champion. He then went on to get a top first in computer science at Cambridge and is now a leading member of the team at LDT.

Constantine Louloudis

Another irritatingly accomplished human, Constantine is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won an Olympic Gold Medal rowing in the men’s four at Rio. He has a first from Oxford and we nicked him from Goldman Sachs – he now leads up partnerships at LDT. In case of disaster, our Plan B is a eugenics program based around Stan and Olly’s DNA.

Jaco Van Gass

Genuine hero and star of our launch film on the last page, Jaco’s accomplishments couldn’t fit in this blurb. Sod it I’ll try – war hero amputee who’s been World Champion cyclist, reached the north pole with Prince Harry, won a silly number of golds at the Invictus Games, Raced across America and is about to go up Everest.

The guy’s a machine and I doubt there’s someone more fun to go on a bike ride with.
