Course Details

The Course

The Regents Park 10k course is a three lap route covering the tarmac paths within the boundaries of Regents Park. The course has been officially measured and carries a certificate of course accuracy (certificate number: 11/174). The route will be clearly marked using large route arrows and directional cones, as well as being marshalled throughout. We would ask you to remember that we do not have exclusive use of the park and you should be aware that other park users will be on the course.

The route is a flat course with only one gentle incline to contend with and covers the tarmac paths surrounding the park. You will pass around various sections of the park past the boating lake and down the famous Regents Park Broad Walk. You will also pass the Money Fountain and alongside London Zoo.

Following the switch to a Sunday race in 2015, the race attracted a record entry and returns again in 2018. The run was established to raise awareness of, and funds for, the Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust which is the charity that fundraises for the Oliver Fisher Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Medway Maritime Hospital. The Unit helps provide special care for premature or sick babies. The run is suitable for runners of all abilities, from experienced athletes to those new to running.

Course suitable for experienced runners and beginners alike.

The Tissington Trail Half Marathon has established itself as a real favourite with runners, often selling out months in advance, and we hold this race on two dates across one weekend to accommodate as many runners as possible. We're proud that the race regularly features in the Runner's World top 10 UK trail races.

The Tissington Trail, the site of a former railway line from Ashbourne to Buxton, runs along a 13 mile route from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne in Derbyshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside the traffic-free trail is ideal for a cracking half marathon and, because the route is slightly downhill all the way, you've got gravity on your side!

This race features chip timing, a quality bespoke medal for all finishers, plus well-stocked aid stations and finish line goodies! Commemorative finisher's technical t-shirts will also be available to purchase.

Prizes from the event are generously sponsored by Big Bobble Hats who will be present on the day of the event.

We are also pleased to welcome Much Better Adventures on board as one of our event partners, an award-winning platform for booking unique, ready-made adventure weekends with amazing local hosts. Join a small social group of like-minded people, or book privately just for you and friends. From Kayaking and Wildcamping the Norwegian Fjords to climbing Mt Toubkal in Morocco, check out the amazing adventures you could have on your next weekend away.

As an event entrant, you can get 25 credit to use on any adventure weekend and we'll also have one place on one of their trips available to win for one lucky entrant!
