Kit List

Running is one of those great sports where you won’t need lots of expensive equipment. Admittedly running shoes can be costly but they should last for around 500 miles which is 8 months on an average 15 miles/week training schedule. Once again help will be on hand from both Do it for Charity and your chosen charity once you have signed up for the event.

I signed up with my dad as my parents had seen the race taking place when they were visiting London the previous year and it sounded like good fun. It was great to see everyone getting dressed up and getting involved in the fun. I made my own outfit but you did get one included in your entry if you didn't already have something. The course was a lovely route around Regents Park, only issue I had was it measured a little short on Strava. The support and atmosphere were fantastic as were the marshals. The medal was disappointing though, it just had the company logo on, no mention of the Superhero element which was obviously the big draw.
