This is a fairly flat scenic course taking in the views of Marlow and the surrounding areas.

The event is set to attract over 700 participants, as the world of endurance sports and triathlon creates massive demand for longer distance events along with the shorter distances that have originally formed this great sport.

There will prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall male and female.

Bespoke Medals for ALL finishers.While there will be providing multiple drink & feed stations around the course during the race, however we do advise participants come prepared before the event with sufficient water and race nutrition to keep them fuelled throughout the whole event.

Course Details

The Bike course for the Sprint Distance is 24.5km & the Olympic Distance is 37km. It is an out and back course and only has two hills, but otherwise fast and flat.

The Bike course for the half iron distance is flat and fast with only two small Chiltern hills to conquer! The Bike course is 85.6km with a very popular 3 Lap course on the far end of the route.

The Run course for the Sprint Distance is a 1 Lap 5km route & the Olympic Distance is 2 Laps for a 10km. The course is on Tarmac and Grass Footpaths. It meanders back towards Marlow and into the finish at Higginson Park from the river tow path.

The Run course for the half iron distance is a scenic route along the river in Marlow with a mixed terrain of Tarmac and Grass Footpaths. The Run is 4 laps of 5km route on Tarmac and Grass Footpaths and meanders back towards Marlow and into the finish at Higginson Park from the river tow path.

Travel

How to get there:

Marlow is best approached from either Junction 4 of the M40 or Junction 8/9 of the M4. Both take you onto the A404 (Marlow Bypass). Follow this to the Bisham roundabout and head through Bisham to Marlow Bridge. Cross over the bridge and turn left at the mini roundabout into Pound Lane. Higginson Park can be accessed either from the public car park at Court Garden Leisure Centre or by carrying on another 100m and turning left into the cricket club.

Parking

Parking will available on the football pitch behind the cricket ground/sports centre for a fee of £5 per car.

Kit List
    99% of the time, wetsuits have to be worn for this event due to the temperature of the water, generally in the UK and Thames Valley most of the water is between 14 degree Celsius & 22 degrees Celsius. The temperature of the water is always taken at least one hour before an event to determine if wetsuits must be worn.

    Hey there, obviously I would recommend doing some decent training beforehand, but I would recommend entering the sprint duathlon. It's half the distance and should act as a good introduction into the sport for you. All the best!
