  3. Ultramarathon

Set to be an iconic event in the Running calendar, where nothing else matters but just putting one foot in front of the other in the beautiful national park that is The New Forest.

We have 6 races for you to choose from and judging by past success we are getting closer to making this a perfect running event!

This is the New Forest its raw, rugged and its untouched its truly an area of outstanding beauty. The courses are all on vehicular tracks, road or bridle paths (only on the Half Marathon distances or above). These arent flat courses, they are undulating and if the weather turns damp, the challenge increases! In 2012 we had 24 degree heat, in 2013 we registered 0 degrees on the plain with the wind chill, its unpredictable, its great fun but above all its as nature intended!!

With great success from lasts year inaugural Dark Peaks 30 Ultra Trail, and some fantastic feedback from competitors.
Being described by the elite field of runners as one of the best but hardest 30 mile ultras they have ever raced and truly a classic in the making. We where excited to bring this event back!!!

Starting from the village of Hope, This Ultra will take you into the heart of the Peak District national park, where the total elevation will be well over 7000ft!!

Starting off on the iconic Pennine way you will soon be greeted with some brutal climbs, high ridge lines and fast technical descending, with the time of year and the nature of this course this one will surely push you to your limits!!

The 'Marathon of the Coast' is run from St Dogmaels on the North Pembrokeshire / Ceredigion border and takes in the entire 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (The UKs only coastal National Park) and finishes at Amroth on the South Pembrokeshire / Carmarthenshire border.

The path is made up mainly of rugged uneven ground which covers a diverse route that will see you run high along open and exposed sea cliffs as well as underneath them at sea level as you pass through the numerous fishing hamlets, villages and towns as well as taking you through some of the most iconic and historic locations in Wales.

The course is visually stunning and due to the nature of the terrain and the elevation loss and gain being over 30,000ft it is also one of the most difficult you will run anywhere in the world. This really is a bucket list run!

Starting on the bank of the Usk river in the market town of Brecon, the Beacons100 ultra marathon will take you on a journey across the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains, an area we absolutely adore due to its beautiful scenery, and unforgiving terrain.

In a similar fashion to our winter event, the Beacons Ultra, you will find very tough terrain, fell in abundance, changeable weather conditions and the finest support to get you to the finish line. Completion = 6 UTMB points for your efforts.

To enter the Beacons100 it is expected that you will have completed a minimum of one 40 mile trail event in the 2017/2018 season and you can navigate effectively. We will host free navigation and footcare seminars leading up the event so if you are unsure about your navigation ability don't let that put you off. We welcome runners and hikers alike. Be aware that this is an incredibly tough adventure!

The Beacons 100 will begin at 20.00hrs on the 17th of August with a cut off time of 18.00hrs on the 19th of August.

The fourth staging of The Twilight Ultra takes place at the Redbridge Cycle Centre in East London after another successful year in 2017.

The secure, traffic-free, undulating, tarmac route sees runners covering laps of the cycle circuit and finishing on what will, hopefully, be a balmy summers evening.

With good parking and spectating facilities, the event features a choice of three distances with start times varying according to the distance you select. Aim high and select the ultra distance and you can always step down to a shorter distance.

Runners will be able to take advantage of well-stocked aid stations on each lap with the availability of hot and cold food and drink.

This genuinely epic ultra starts in Lynmouth and finishes in Ivybridge (100 miles) with the option of continuing to Wembury if you finish within 30 hours (111 miles). You will run through the night and anyone who gets to Ivybridge inside 24 hours will receive a special prize!

This is a very challenging self navigation ultra, and isn't to be taken lightly. You'll be crossing two national parks: Exmoor in the north of Devon, Mid Devon and Dartmoor National Park, following the recently relaunched Two Moors Way. Despite the minimal ascent, only experienced ultra runners or participants with good navigation skills will be accepted. Even in September, good weather can not be assured and parts of the route can become boggy.

Dont be fooled, this is no baby ultra! Its a fully fledged Dartmoor Crossing, following the Two Moors Way, which will require self navigation skills.
