Challenge Awards IconChallenge Awards Top 10 Event 2019

Also known as "The Hell of The North", it is the biggest 1 day race in professional cycling and you can test yourself over the same course 24 hours before the Pros. One of the easiest races to get to for UK riders, it is also one of the hardest to ride. The cobbles have to be experienced since words will never do them justice. We can ensure you are as prepared as possible. Basing you in Roubaix is ideal for soaking up race weekend atmosphere and seeing the Race.

Bike Hire

Local bike hire is available however please let us know at the time of booking if you require a bike!

There are 8000 Paris Roubaix Challenge cyclists in the local area, hence demand is extremely high over these dates.
Roubaix is located in northern France and if you are riding the long route there is a shuttle from Roubaix to Busigny leaving at 5.30am which needs to be pre-booked.

With the famous Roubaix Velodrome being located in the town itself, the whole place is buzzing for Paris Roubaix over the weekend. The race usually leaves riders caked in mud and grit, from the cobbled roads and rutted tracks.

However, this is not how this race earned the name l'Enfer du Nord, or Hell of the North. The term was used to describe the route of the race after World War I. Organisers and journalists set off from Paris in 1919 to see how much of the route had survived four years of war.

Sections of the route being are also used for the Tour de France. Hence its nickname the "Queen of the Classics"
