Route information
Swim Course
  • All Olympic & Olympic Relay competitors complete 750m x 2 laps = 1500m. You must go through the start gate to start your 2nd lap.
  • All Sprint & Sprint Distance Relay competitors complete 1 x 750m lap
  • All Super Sprint & Super Sprint Distance Relay competitors complete 1 lap of the short course
Bike Course
  • All Olympic & Olympic Relay competitors complete one full lap
  • All Sprint, Sprint Distance Relay, Super Sprint and Super Sprint Relay will follow the same one lap bike course
Your race number must be clearly visible on your back before leaving the Cycle Transition Area.
Run Course
All events will follow the same out and back course.

There are a number of car parks in and around Ellesmere, some of which are pay and display. A few are quite a walk away so please leave yourself plenty of time to park and walk to registration.

Race Packs
All race day information, including bib numbers, will be emailed to competitors 7-10 days before the event. Race packs themselves will be available to collect from registration on the day nothing will be sent out in advance. Each pack will include:

Age Requirements
Participants must be the following ages to enter each distance:
Super Sprint, Sprint, Sprint Relay distances & Olympic Relay team members - 16 years old

  
Olympic Distance Solo - 17 years old

  
How to Relay
Each member of the relay team completes one or two of the three disciplines in the triathlon.
The swimmer completes swim, then swimmer passes the electronic chip to the cyclist inside the cycle transition area.
The cyclist completes the cycle course and passes the electronic chip over to the runner in the transition area.
The runner completes the run and hands in the electronic chip at the finish line.
