Route information
Terrain: Trails Elevation: Rolling Hills
Both the half marathon and 10k routes will start and finish at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park Visitors Centre and be entirely within the park and South Downs. You'll follow some of the best trails that the South Downs has to offer, taking some truly scenic routes.
There will be plenty of rolling hills to contend with - the 10k route is a gradual climb up to halfway then a downhill return to the finish at the base of Butser Hill. From the start in the Country Park, the half marathon route then crosses fields to the Village of Chalton before picking up the Sussex Border Path, bringing you to the South Downs Way. The route then heads back along the South Downs Way back through QE Park to the finish.
