This is an 8 hour challenge event, in which runners will run as many or as few laps of the course as they wish.
There will be different routes for the Spring Challenge on the Saturday and the St Georges Day Challenge on the Sunday. Both will be approximately 3.74 mile loops entirely within the beautiful Ranscombe Farm Nature Reserve and will likely be muddy. There'll be excellent views over North Kent and the Medway with rolling chalk hills, wildflowers and plenty of wildlife.
Spring Ranscombe Challenge Route - Saturday
This 3.74 mile 'Green' route loop will have 380 feet of elevation gain. The route sits between two railway lines, a road, fencing and a river so you'll know if you've gone off course. The route will be clearly marked with green tape and arrows.
Lucky Dip Challenge Route - Sunday
The 'Red' route is slightly flatter with 350 feet of elevation gain. You'll be running through some beautiful meadowlands. The route will be clearly marked with red tape and arrows.
