Quarter Marathon
This race is perfect for all beginners. This 7 mile race will take you out onto some beautiful trails around the Cotswolds. You will climb towards Rodborough Fort and will have the opportunity to embrace its architectural beauty. From there you will descend via the woodland trails, heading under the viaduct along the towpath towards the finish line at the town centre. There is one checkpoint along this route at 4.6miles.
Half Marathon
The Half Marathon trail race will ascend Selsey Common, from there racers will dive into the Pen Woods. At the summit take in the fantastic views of the Stroud Valley as you look out towards the Severn Estuary and Forest of Dean. The descent of this race will be steep so be careful as you fly past Rodborough Fort towards the finish in the town centre.
Marathon
This trail marathon will be great for those who love to embrace nature. You will explore the Toadsmoor Valley where you can experience lakes, woodlands, and the true hidden gems of the Cotswolds. There will be some ascents, you will go across the Heavens before descending via Dry Hill Wood. After the woods, this marathon route will join the half marathon route as you race towards the finish.
40 Mile Ultramarathon
The 40 mile trail Ultra will give you the chance to experience all the Cotswolds have to offer. From 14 miles of woodlands, fields, hills, and fantastic views. This will follow the marathon route but will also add an extra 10 mile loop through Bisley, Oakridge, and Chairford Valley.

There is no specific car park for this event. There are 30 spaces at the school, but the rest of the parking is street parking.

Age Requirements
  • Marathon and Ultra: Entrants must be 18 years or older to participate
  • Half Marathon: Entrants must be 17 years or older to participate
  • Quarter Marathon: Entrants must be 15 years or older to participate
Kit List
This race is off-road so make sure to wear appropriate clothing and trail shoes.
Toilets
There are public toilets available 100m away from Race HQ. Please do not use the church toilets or you will be disqualified from the race if found using these toilets.
Bag Drop
There will be an unsupervised bag drop at the Shambles indoor market, all baggage is left at your own risk.
Crowds
Spectators are welcome at this event.
