Struggle Moors is one of the UK's hardest sportives in Yorkshire. Although this epic feat may feel frightful, with preparation, pacing and plenty of fuel it's achievable for any aspiring road cyclist.
This sportive route will tackle 10,193ft of climbs over five climbs that are set in the stunning landscape of the North Yorkshire Moors. This route will test your endurance and your hill-climbing ability so make sure you're ready to feel the burn.
The event begins in the stunning setting of Ampleforth Abbey, North Yorkshire, with accommodation at the start/finish, and takes riders over 180km of challenging terrain among breathtaking Yorkshire Moors landscape. A 150km route, offering aspiring riders a taste of the epic ascents of the Yorkshire Moors.
The route has been dubbed as one of the hardest sportives in the UK, with riders continuing their training following Struggle Dales to take on this monster event. Cycling Weekly reviewed it as: "One of the best days out and something to aspire to.”

There will be a finisher village located at the HQ, there will be gourmet food vendors, a barista bar, and beer on sale for everyone to enjoy after a tough ride.
Where are the feed stations at the Struggle Moors?
There will be three feed stations located throughout the route at the following distances, providing riders with a wide range of nutritional products. They are located at: Osmotherely, 28 Miles, Glaisdale, 65 miles and Glaisdale, 83 miles.
