Be part of the sprint distance triathlon in this iconic welsh city. The event is open to both adults and children age 14 and over and has the fantastic finish line atmosphere expected at all of our events.

The Swansea Triathlon course is simply in one of the best locations in the UK. With a calm, safe and spectator friendly swim, picturesque ride and a fast and flat run, this event will take some beating!

What’s Included

Registration will be at the National Waterfront Museum. Please be aware that no bikes are permitted inside the museum.

You will need your Photo ID and signed Disclaimer to be able to register on the day. Without these we have the right to stop you from competing Only you can register! You are not allowed to register someone else!

You must be 14 years old by the day of the race.

Entries are non-transferable, so if someone else races under your details, you and the person racing will be disqualified and banned from all Activity Wales Events.

At registration you will receive an envelope which will include the following — 2 Bib Numbers, 1 Helmet Number, 1 Bike post number and 1 Timing Chip and Swim Hat for your allocated wave. Please make sure you complete the medical information on the back of your bibs.

You will be registered in your wave, so please make sure you know your wave before arrival — you can find this information on the website. Waves are not transferable.

Pre-race massage with also be available at registration by Vicki White Sports Massage

Directions from Pembrokeshire

  1. Take the A40 to Carmarthen
  2. Follow through Crosshands and Pont Abraham roundabout
  3. Take the M4 towards Swansea
  4. Leave M4 at Junction 45
  5. Keep in left hand lane and take A4067 towards the City Centre
  6. Follow the signs for Stadium for approx. 6 miles and then the Stadium will appear on your left hand side
  7. After the Stadium follow the road and take a right at the roundabout towards the docks
  8. There are many car parks in the area which you can park in to access all the areas needed.

  1. Leave the M4 at Junction 44
  2. Follow Fabian Way down to the centre

General Events FAQs

When do I get my race number and timing chip?

These must be collected at the time of registration upon showing photo ID and a signed copy of the disclaimer.

 Are there official photographers?

Yes FinisherPix will be on site to take athlete photos.

 What roads will be closed for the event?

Road will be closed between 4pm – 8pm – here is a list of the roads affected • East Burrows Road • Oxford Street • Temple Street • Nelson Street • Westway • Whitewells • Cambrian Place • Union Street • Dunvant Palace • A4067 Victoria Road • A4067 Oystermouth Road • A4067 Mumbles Road

Swim FAQs

Do I have to wear a wetsuit?

Yes, this is mandatory for all of our events and must cover the torso & thighs. It must NOT cover the hands and feet.

 Can I wear my own swim hat?

If you wish to wear two swim hats that is fine but the issued swim hat MUST be worn on top.

 What stroke can I use?

Although BTF rules have now allowed backstroke we will not allow you to do this stroke. Front facing strokes only.

Bike FAQ

Can I use Tri Bars (aerobars)?

Yes Tri Bars are allowed.

Run FAQs

 Can I wear headphones?

No, we discourage anyone wearing headphones during the race.

 Is there a cut off?

Last athlete cut-off is 8pm.

    The flyer I had through the letterbox said it's a 750km swim I thing theres a printing error that's 466 miles.

    Hello, definitely sounds like a printing error, it's defiantly only a 750 metre swim. All the best!
