About
The Swissman is a point to point race starting in the southern part of Switzerland, leading over three mountain passes to the central part of Switzerland and finishing with a final climb in the heart of Switzerland just at the bottom of the massive mountain backdrop of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and the challenge of the course absolutely extreme.

Route information
The SWISSMAN Xtreme Triathlon was inspired by the legendary Norseman Xtreme Triathlon in Norway, and it is a point to point long course event. After a cool and refreshing 3.8km swim in Lago Maggiore athletes tackle three mountain passes and encounter stunning vistas on their bikes. The race then has another majestic climb at the end of the run and the total elevation gain is 5,500 meters (18,044 feet).
The first big climb the athletes get to conquer is the Gotthard Pass, and that is a very popular cycling climb. Pros and amateurs alike come here to get in shape and test their mettle.

You can have more than one supporter, but only one support car! The Q-Perior Supporter badge to enter the transition zones is not personal and can be switched between several supporters. Important is: You have registered only one supporter. This person is responsible for your support. Also the registered mobile phone must be available for the SWISSMAN crew during the whole day to get in contact with your support crew! This is also the phone you need to carry with you on the last part from Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg.

Can I support my athlete from the bike during the run?
Yes. If you decide to accompany your athlete by bike during the run, you are allowed to do this between Brienz and Grindelwald. Please be aware that there are several parts with gravel road. A mountainbike is therefore more suitable. On the last part from Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg your supporter must accompany you on foot. It is also allowed to support the athlete on foot already between Brienz and Grindelwald.
