The Long Course Weekend – Mallorca

To kick-off the weekend on Saturday, the Long Course athletes have The Swim to complete a 3.8km open water swim. The Swim also has a 1.9km swim, 1.5km swim and 750m, swim all to correspond with triathlons most popular distances.

If you want to be a part of the weekend but dont want to do the longer distances, you can enter any other combinations you choose! Invite friends and training partners, bring along club members and support each other over the weekend.

On Sunday the attention turns to The Sportive, and 172km of undulating countryside that also incorporates 86km, distance to attract athletes of all abilities.

To finish the weekend, the athletes will complete The Run a 42.2km marathon.. There is also a 21.1km run, 10km run and a 5km run which allows everyone to be involved.

Nearly 2500 competitors are expected to attend the LCW with approximately 1000 athletes attempting to receive the Long Course Weekend medal, which entails completing all three of the longest distances. Successful LCW athletes will be awarded with the LCW medal.

There are lots of activities during the days 26 to 29 October. All activities will be held in the Port of Alcúdia.
We recommend that you review this information as it may change as the date of the event approaches. You can check the locations in the event area map.

Sunday 28th October

07:30 – 18:00h- Race number pick up*

08:20h – First top 10 (male and female) LCW athletes pre call to start

08:30h – Bike start 172km

12:15h – Bike start 86km

15:00h – Bike trophy ceremmony

Monday 29th October

20:00h – After race party in  Banana´s (Puerto de Alcúdia)

*IMPORTANT: 30 minutes before your start in any of the disciplines or distances you must have collected your race number. For safety reasons, in case of non-compliance, you will not be allowed to start.
