Beyond Marathon are back with the 5th birthday edition of this always a sell-out event! Based on the same format of our other Trail in a Day event, The Gritstone Trail. We have created accessible, low key event with the focus on running. We have still kept the cost down (58p a mile!) and the satisfaction level is always high. Its a great ultra to start with because it is flat and the time limit is very generous.

Each event has a stand-alone medal you can opt for when you register. If you complete both events, the special medals interlock to produce a unique Double-Finish medal!

The Way for the Millennium is a national trail that was setup 18 years ago to celebrate the millennium, and is now 41 miles long.

For the Millennium Way in March, youll park and register at Burton-on-Trent (Derbyshire border); Shobnall Leisure Complex and then board the coach for a the 41 mile trip to Newport itself (on the Shropshire border).

The fourth staging of The Twilight Ultra takes place at the Redbridge Cycle Centre in East London after another successful year in 2017.

The secure, traffic-free, undulating, tarmac route sees runners covering laps of the cycle circuit and finishing on what will, hopefully, be a balmy summers evening.

With good parking and spectating facilities, the event features a choice of three distances with start times varying according to the distance you select. Aim high and select the ultra distance and you can always step down to a shorter distance.

Runners will be able to take advantage of well-stocked aid stations on each lap with the availability of hot and cold food and drink.

Starting on the bank of the Usk river in the market town of Brecon, the Beacons100 ultra marathon will take you on a journey across the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains, an area we absolutely adore due to its beautiful scenery, and unforgiving terrain.

In a similar fashion to our winter event, the Beacons Ultra, you will find very tough terrain, fell in abundance, changeable weather conditions and the finest support to get you to the finish line. Completion = 6 UTMB points for your efforts.

To enter the Beacons100 it is expected that you will have completed a minimum of one 40 mile trail event in the 2017/2018 season and you can navigate effectively. We will host free navigation and footcare seminars leading up the event so if you are unsure about your navigation ability don't let that put you off. We welcome runners and hikers alike. Be aware that this is an incredibly tough adventure!

The Beacons 100 will begin at 20.00hrs on the 17th of August with a cut off time of 18.00hrs on the 19th of August.

Starting from the village of Hope, This Ultra will take you into the heart of the Peak District national park, where the total elevation will be well over 7000ft!!

Starting off on the iconic Pennine way you will soon be greeted with some brutal climbs, high ridge lines and fast technical descending, with the time of year and the nature of this course this one will surely push you to your limits!!

Dark Peaks 30 Ultra Trail

Wholly located within the National Park, and utilising sections of the Cleveland Way, this area is superbly suited to trail running. The course is rich and varied with reminders to Yorkshire's fine heritage all around - from the dry stone walls and disused railway lines, to the hardy sheep flocks up on the moors. The world famous Whitby Abbey is just a few miles up the road, so there is plenty to make a weekend long visit well worthwhile.

For the Millennium Way Back, in April, youll park and register at Newport Cosy Hall, and then board the coach for a the 41 mile trip to Burton on Trent.

Youll run as fast as your little legs will carry you along the pretty much flat course all the way back to your car. You have a leisurely 12 hours in which to do it too. Yes you did read that right, the course is essentially flat, for 41 miles. There is a miserable 300ft of climbing on the whole course. Beyond Marathon are normally well known for tough hilly events, so weve gone soft on this one. Well, we like to throw you a bone now and again. Just this once mind you. The next event we setup; well ensure theres 5 miles of vertical to make amends for this.
