8 seasons and counting. That's how long we've been putting up the biggest, baddest Tough Mudder Full events ever at Whistler Olympic Park. The mountain terrain at Tough Mudder Whistler might be beautiful, but don't let that fool you, these slopes mean thigh burnin', lung burstin' business. It ain't gonna be easy, but it'll be worth it when you cross that finish line alongside your new best friends from course.

Tough Mudder Half Whistler is a whole lot of climbing, and pushing you out of your comfort zone to be your best. Whistler Olympic Park was made to push even elite athletes to their best and beyond, so don't be surprised when you find yourself chugging up the steep inclines and wondering just what you got yourself into.

Tough Mudder 5K Whistler is not your typical fun run. The course at Whistler Olympic Park is gonna be packed with the most epic obstacles in the industry. Located just 20 minutes outside of Whistler Village they'll be gorgeous views, mountain terrain, and picture perfect mud like it was placed there just for us. Tough Mudder 5K Whistler is the new breed of 5K.

Tough Mudder – Whistler routes

10 Miles:

The event that started it all. Tough Mudder Full Whistler is 10 miles jam-packed full of 20 epic obstacles specifically designed by our crew of expert engineers to require intense teamwork, get you out of your comfort zone, and test your limits. But make no mistake – this is not a race. There’s no clock, no official times, no podium – just you and your crew forging a bond in the mud that will last a lifetime. Tough Mudder shows you what it means to conquer any task, find your mental edge, and truly be Tougher Together.

5 Miles:

Say goodbye to the same old, chill-on-the-couch, regular-local-bar weekend and hello to the extraordinary, the epic, the best weekend of your year. Tough Mudder Half Whistler is 5 miles of mud, and 13 best-in-class obstacles designed by our industry leading engineers to be an absolute certified blast. Tough Mudder Half is not a race – just one epic party that will test your toughness and your teamwork, without electricity or ice. Tough Mudder Half will have your heart racing all the way to the finish line where you and your crew can grab a frosty cold finisher beer on us. You earned it.

3 Miles:

Tough Mudder 5K is pulling out all the stops for an epic bash so fun you’ll have no choice but to have the time of your life. It all starts and ends in Mudder Village with killer live entertainment, epic games and challenges, authentic local food, and a never ending-supply of Mudder Nation camaraderie. After you’re done crushing the course, the good times keep rolling with a frosty cold finisher beer and your new best friends from course.

Raceday Logistics

Please arrive 45 minutes before your assigned start time to ensure you can park, check in, drop your bag, and get to the Warm Up Zone 20 minutes before your start time. START TIMES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to high demand, some participants have been assigned a different start time than requested. Please do not contact us directly as we will not be able to accommodate changes. Please ensure you have:

  • valid photo ID
  • active.com participant ticket - either printed or ready on your phone.

BAG DROP

If you don’t plan on traveling home muddy, you’ll probably want to bring a change of clothes. Stop by the bag drop tent to store your belongings while you’re on course. $8 online, $10 onsite. Save time and money by purchasing in advance.

Kit List

At all events, we suggest wearing normal running shoes – spikes and cleats are strictly prohibited, but MERRELL shoes are highly encouraged. Dress in comfortable clothing (or a costume that will make you more stylish on course) and bring dry clothing to change into once you’re done.
If it’s cold, gloves are recommended. If it’s hot, sunscreen is a necessity. No matter what the weather is, make sure to come hydrated and take advantage of water stations on course.
