    FAQs

Is the route the same as the british 10k?

The route will remain the same as the former event, with plenty of entertainment and exciting atmosphere route-wide.

    Are wheelchair participants allowed?

Yes, wheelchair participants are accepted. There is a cut off time of 1 hour 45 minutes so that traffic can keep moving too, providing you are able to finish within this time you can race, although if in a day chair it's recommended you start at the back of the race. Please also be aware that there are several 180 degree turns on the course and a short sharp hill that you should take care on.

If you’re happy with the above, then please select Wheelchair Participant upon registration and Virgin will be in touch prior to organize race day logistics.

This is a great race for anyone looking for atmosphere and an epic course. The route takes you through central London and you see all the sites, particularly going over Westminster bridge near the end where you're right by the London Eye. There are lots of spectators cheering you on and bands seemingly at every turn - I really enjoyed this race. There are a lot of people that do it though - so get there early to avoid queueing at bagdrop. It took a while to set off from the pens, but that's to be expected I suppose, the people on the mic while you were waiting were great so it wasn't too bad. Well worth doing, absolutely 5* race.

Awesome run! great atmosphere. Basically like doing the last 10k of the London Marathon but being a bit less knackered

Was a really enjoyable run. Wish it could of been a better time but this was because I was returning from injury. So couldn't expect anymore.

The race is organised excellently and I thoroughly enjoy the scenery during the whole run and pitu is the renovation of Big Ben where I couldn't take a selfie but other than that the atmosphere is fantastic and hopefully I'll be back for next year run 2019.
