The route is a 3 time out and back for the half marathon, a 6 time out and back for the full marathon and a 7 time out and back for the 50k. The course is run on King George Island between the Chilean & Chinese research bases. You will be sleeping overnight in Antarctica the evening before the race making this even more special. Not for the faint hearted of the faint of wallet, though this package is the best value by far compared to some. The 2017 event is the only opportunity for those who want to run a marathon in Antarctica and to achieve that goal within one week's time. The other Antarctic race options require a minimum of 14 to 20 days.
