Push yourself to new limits as you take part in a special 200 mile ultra. This hilly route is not for the faint-hearted with 30,187ft of climbing over 200 miles to be completes in 120 hours. It will be tough, but it is very much achievable with the right approach to these picturesque Welsh trails.

This point-to-point South Wales 200 mile ultra is definitely a pulse raiser with a total elevation gain of 29,583 feet. You will explore the vast reaching mountainous landscape traversing the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains. You will travel coast to coast, from Chepstow to Worm's Head. There will be plenty of checkpoints, every 25 miles where you can rest, recharge and refuel before hitting the trails again.
The race is well supported with aid stations serving food and drink, sleep stations, a skilled medical team, live tracking of runners, and unique finisher buckles as well as other Wild Horse swag to take home… After running 200 miles. The checkpoints will be approximately 25 miles apart.

The startline is located in Chepstow, along Station Road near Tesco.
Free Shuttle
As this is a point to point, the organiser are providing a free shuttle the day before the event from the finish line at Worm's Head to the start at Chepstow. You will be able to leave your car the National Trust car park at the finish line for the duration of the event and it will be waiting for you at the end! You will need to pay £25 to the National Trust on the day for the 5 day parking.
By Car
If travelling from London via car, follow the A4 to the M4. Follow the M4 to Wye Valley (A466) in Monmouthshire, and take exit 2 from the M48. Finally follow the Wye Valley Link Road/A466 and A48 to Chepstow.

By Train
If travelling from London, you can take the Paddington Station train to Newport where you can transfer to a Transport for Wales train to Chepstow. From Chepstow station, the start line is only a 2 minute walk.
Start Time
The race will start at 0600. Racers are encouraged to allow plenty of time to prepare before the start.
Checkpoints
Checkpoints can be found at every 25 mile interval. Runners are encouraged to bring their own crew, but it is possible to run this un-crewed. Runners can also access their drop bags at each checkpoint.
Cut-Off Time
All runners must pass the 100 mile marker before the 55 hour mark.
The final cut-off time is 120 hours. Note the longest time someone has taken to compplete this course in the past is 116 hours.
Aid Stations
There will be well-supported aid stations, with both warm/cold food and drinks, sleep stations, and medical support.
A single sleep station drop bag can be transported to all 3 sleep stations, which are located at 70, 120, and 160 miles.
Crew
All runners are encouraged by the organisers to bring their own crew.
