Hell of a Hill Marathon is arguably the toughest 26.2 miles in the UK, and the toughest 5 consecutive marathons in 5 days in the World - only the toughest dare to challenge the Hill for 5 consecutive days! The mighty Rivington Pike stands 1,191ft tall on the West Pennine Moors, and runners have to pass over the summit a massive 40 times to complete the challenge of a lifetime. A total of 30,000ft of elevation gain (Mount Everest!) and 131 miles of tough stone and mud trail running in the cold Winter months!.

Welcome to Fairclough 5 and 1 Mile Family Fun Run dedicated to the life of Bob Fairclough. Join us for an exciting running event & enjoy with your friends, family & loved one. A rural 5 mile race starting and finishing at Stanah Country Park, River Rd Thornton FY5 5LR.
Main course around the lanes at Stanah & Fun run course will be traffic free.
This event starts with a rocket and swimmers can race, or leisurely complete one lap (500m) of the quarry. This should be long enough for you to experience the beauty of night swimming in safe secure surroundings. You will be issued with glow sticks one for your wetsuit and one for your goggle strap.

The route will follow a loop anti-clockwise around the Lancashire/Yorkshire border, taking in the spectacular climb of Bowland Knotts (hence the Sportive name), looping back around the beautiful Ribble Valley back to Green Jersey for hot soup.
We would like to encourage riders to cycle year round and become winter warriors, not just summer softies! With appropriate clothing and lighting, cycling can be enjoyed whatever the season.
The ride will take in quiet roads around the Ribble Valley and head out as far as Giggleswick on the 100km route. It will be well signed and marshalled, and there will be hot drinks and food available back in Green Jersey in Clitheroe.
A fast and flat course on the coastal front of Lytham, starting at Fairhaven Lake. A two minute silence will be observed before the start of the race for Remembrance Sunday.
MoRunning is coming to Liverpool this November! Grow or paint on your mo for this great race, set in the lovely Croxteth Park. MoRunning supports Movember and fundraising for Men's Health, in particular Prostate Cancer. 10k and 5k options available.

The annual Preston 10 mile Road race is a major event in the Preston Harriers year.
For over 35 years this well established, and popular race, has brought large fields of over 500 runners to Hutton in mid November. The fast, flat course attracts many runners looking for a pb.
A great country route around the local villages of Euxton and Astley Village. A two lap course run on very quiet roads. Last year was a sell-out with 500 entries so be sure to enter early!
